STD / HIV and AIDS Care
The optimal management of patients with sexually transmitted diseases, like the HIV and AIDS, unfortunately has become a constant evolving process in our society. We are working together with the Health Care Department, based on recent health care recommendations and experience in treating patients with sexually transmitted diseases, HIV, and AIDS, who have base line confirmatory studies, including physical, laboratory results and possible radiological studies.
We expeditiously prescribe and offer treatments and counseling for future purpose of prevention and care of sexually transmitted disease. Antiretroviral medications are given accordingly to the patient clinical and physical status at the time of visit and sometimes the patient may have to be referred outside for a specialist recommendation.
For better management, we offer the patient on their initial visit, a physical exam, a laboratory work up and preventative counseling.
Depending on the patients outcome with the initial physical and laboratory results; patient is subsequently offered routine office visits which involve both medical, physical rehabilitation and psychological counseling.
